SWIM MEET PROTOCOL
When your swimmer arrives at a meet, they need to highlight their name at our team’s check-in site. If your swimmer does not check in, the coaches will not know if they are there and will remove them from the lineup for the entire meet. No late arrivals! Speak to your coach if you have a situation.
DIRECTIONS TO MEETS:
All home meets are held at the White Eagle Golf Club Pool. Directions to AWAY meets can be found under the Documents tab.
All families are required to work a maximum of FIVE (5) jobs during our summer season. No-Shows will be fined $75 per meet and YOUR CHILD WILL be removed from the next meets lineup. To provide quality and efficiently run meets, it is vitally important that all parents fulfill their job requirements. If you need to find someone to work for you, contact the volunteer coordinator, via the team email email@example.com. See also: Parent Worker Responsibilities found under the Parent/Swimmer Resp. tab.
IN ADDITION, you will be required to work the championship meet your swimmer attends, either Classic or City. It is mandatory that you work a job at the Classic or City meet. This is not included in your (5) jobs. Assignments for jobs at championship meets will be posted at a later date.
Coaches will post the events your swimmer will participate in prior to each meet. Line-up sheets are posted on the White Eagle Club pool bulletin board. NOTE: These line-ups are subject to change at time of meet. Please check with the coach at the meet for final line-up information.
You must sign your swimmer up using online system. If you miss the deadline, please contact Coach Lauren in person or at firstname.lastname@example.org to see if they can be added. Additions to the meet line up CANNOT be made the day of the meet.
The last two weekends of the swim season, all swimmers participate in one of two championship meets. City Championships are a qualification meet. Time requirements are posted under the Documents tab. Swimmers who do not achieve the city time requirements are encouraged to attend the Classic Championship Meet. The two separate meets allow for balanced competition at each meet. Both are exciting meets for the kids and a great way to end the season.
