Blackfin Squad

Swimmers will work on continued refinement of stroke mechanics and developing race endurance. Swimmers will practice diving, turns for all strokes, relay starts, and finish ready to swim on a competitive year-round swim team.

Ages:                       9-18

Practice:                 90 minute session, 2-4 times per week (Recommended 4 times per week)

Goals:                     Individual Best Times/Personal Records; continue with competitive year-round swim team

Require:                 3 x 100 Freestyle on interval 1:50

100 Backstroke @ 2:10

200 Individual Medley @ 4:10

Legal Turns for all four strokes

Finishes for all four strokes

Meet Information:

Meets are great opportunities for swimmers to see their hard work in action

Swimmers are strongly encourage to attend as many meets possible

Wednesday evening and Saturday mornings
