Devil Rays families,

As the COVID-19 situation continues to change, we wanted to reach out with what information we have regarding summer swim team.

At this time, Old Dominion Swim League (ODSL) has made no decision regarding the 2020 swim season. There will be a virtual meeting for team reps/coaches on Thursday, April 9th to discuss different scenarios and how the league plans to move forward.

We understand that Governor Northam has implemented a ‘Stay at Home’ order for Virginia that will last until June 10th unless amended or rescinded. We don’t know how this order will affect the swim season, but we will be sure to share any information we have as soon as we receive it. In the meantime, we’re keeping registration open as planned. Deadline to register is still May 1, 2020; families may log on to to register their swimmer(s) and pay the registration fees.

We want to assure you that, in the event the season is cancelled by ODSL, we will refund each family the full amount as well as the $20 start-up fee and the $25 non-resident fee (if applicable). If the swim season schedule is modified/delayed in any way, we’ll allow families to withdraw their registration up to a certain date. (More information TBD based on new developments.)

Our #1 priority is that every member of the Devil Rays community feels comfortable and informed about whatever decisions are made moving forward. In the meantime, we hope you and your families are staying safe and healthy.

Thanks, and please feel free to reach out with any questions.
