On Wednesdays, there are only morning practices due to 5:30pm swim meets.

Swim Team members are those swimmers that can comfortably swim 1 lap of the pool by themselves and can therefore compete in swim meets.   Less experienced swimmers participate in our "Junior Gator" Learn-to-Swim program instead.

Some of our junior coaches do not begin working until after the school year ends.  For this reason, we ask that only those children who can comfortably complete 1 lap of the pool on their own come for pre-season swim team practice.  If you are not sure if your child should be on Swim Team or Junior Gators, please contact Coach Eddie Lee to set up an evaluation.

The age group your swimmer is in is based on the age they are on June 15, 2018.

All workouts/practices are held at the Miramonte High School Pool.

Swim Team members participate in both the Pre-Season workouts and Summer Season workouts and meets.   Junior Gators only participate in the Summer Season lessons and do not compete in swim meets unless/until they "graduate" onto the swim team.  The Pre-Season is before school is out and before summer competitive meets begin, and therefore has different workout times.

Note: Specific age group practices are guidelines and are based on ability and experience.  Some swimmers may be asked by the coaching staff to swim up or down an age group based on their ability. Please check with the coaching staff if you have questions.
