Seven Locks Swim Team Coaching Staff

Head Coach Bridget Dromerick is thrilled to be returning to Seven Locks for her third season as Head Coach. Bridget started swimming in MCSL at Inverness Forest at the age of 5. As her love for swimming grew, she began year-round swimming at RMSC where she swam until college. She participated in various competitive meets while in high school, including Junior Olympics, Metros, Tom Dolan and NCSA Junior Nationals. She then joined the swim team at Franklin & Marshall College her freshman year, where she was awarded Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year and Most Outstanding Performer. 

Bridget loves to share her passion for swimming and help others improve their strokes. Bridget started coaching at age 13. She has also coached at Montgomery County Aquatic Center and the FINS program at Georgetown Prep. She is super excited to see everyone again and can't wait for another great season with the Sharks!

 

Assistant Head Coach Aaron Dane is a proud 12-year member of the Seven Locks swim team and a 5th-year coach. He began swimming at age 5 while living in Romania, and joined the Seven Locks Swim team at age 8 when his family moved back to the states. He is passionate about coaching and is excited to build on the Sharks' dedication to swimming and spirit as Assistant Head Coach this summer. He was previously a member of the All Star Aquatics swim club and the Walt Whitman High School Swim and Dive Team, and served as captain his senior year. He is entering his junior year at the University of Maryland, where he studies International Relations and Development. 

 

Associate Coach Gabi Bertozzi is excited to head back to Seven Locks this summer for her third season as s coach. Gabi began swimming on the Deerwood Swim Team in Jacksonville, Florida when she was four years old, and since moving to Maryland she has been an active member of the Seven Locks Swim Team. Gabi will begin her senior year in the fall at St. John's College High School where she is a member of their Varsity Swim Team. Gabi is looking forward to a fun and memorable summer!

 

  Associate Coach Max Levine is excited to return for his third year as a Seven Locks coach. He has swum for the Sharks and year-round for SDS since he was age 8. He is a captain of the Walt Whitman High School Swim & Dive team and will be heading off to Washington University in St. Louis this fall.

Junior Coach Elisabeth Charles has been part of the Seven Locks “swamily” for 8 years and is proud and honored to be a junior coach. A sophomore at Walt Whitman High School, she was on both the swim and volleyball teams. She swam with FINS for one year; RMSC for 3 years; and is currently in her third year with All Star Aquatics. Elisabeth adores working with children of all ages and is excited for a great new summer season and most of all, the fabulous Shark team spirit. Elisabeth is certified with the Red Cross; is an avid reader; loves basketball and hopes to find time on the Seven Locks tennis courts this summer.
