To register, you will be asked to complete all required information electronically. All waivers and policies must be signed and acknowledged. Electronic acknowledgement of WAC policies when registering online will note your IP address for WAC internal records which serves as your digital signature and agreement.
Returning members will need to log-in to the website and update account information when registering. If you have swum for Wellington in the past, you should have an existing account. See Locate My Account for help with this.
Families new to the team will complete the registration, and once payment is received and the membership is approved by the Registrar, you will receive an email to invite you to log into the website.
If you have any difficulties completing the registration process, send us an email. We do not maintain an active telephone line, so email is the best way to reach out for help. Someone will typically respond within an hour.
Preferred payment method is by Check or Money Order. We do accept Credit Cards, but the associated Credit Card fees are to be paid by the purchaser. This includes a $1.00 processing fee and 2.9% of the total fees charged. This applies to Debit Card users as well. To avoid any extra fees, on the payment page of the registration, please select to pay by Check, then mail your payment to: Wellington Aquatic Club, P.O. Box 482, Manassas, Virginia, 20108
Wellington Aquatic Club Refund Policy
The Wellington Aquatic Club will offer a refund of Competitive Team fees if your child(ren) are withdrawn from the team prior to Time Trials which is held one week before the first dual-meet of the season. Your registration fees will be refunded to you, minus a $10 processing fee per child, to offset the registration fees, League fees and other administrative costs. No refunds are issued after Time Trials.
Pre-season fees are not refundable.
If you have extraneous circumstances that cause you to feel you are due a full or partial refund after the deadline, please direct that request to the Board of Directors.
Refunds are issued in the form of a check which will be mailed to the home address on file. All refunds are approved and processed by the Board at the next Directors meeting after the request was received as checks must be signed by two of the WAC Officers. Depending on when the Board of Directors is meeting, it may take up to a month to process the refund. The Board of Directors meets weekly during the swim season, and monthly from August through May.
Wellington Aquatic Club Returned Check Policy
The Wellington Aquatic Club will expect full reimbursement of all banking fees in the case of a dishonored check.
If you have any questions or concerns about the registration process, just send us an email.
