Volunteers for referee, starter, stroke and turn judge, clerk of course, head scorer and head timer must undergo Rappahannock Swim League (RSL) officials training or be certified by USA Swimming or Virginia High School League (VHSL) in the same position. Stroke and turn training can be done at www.StrokeandTurn.com. Upon completion, you need to bring your certificate to one of the training sessions and the RSL rules will be reviewed. Referees must attend yearly training. ***Training is required for referee, starter, stoke & turn judge, head timer, clerk of course, and recorder/scorer. Qualified USA Swimming/VHSL officials must still register with RSL and complete familiarization with RSL specific rules and procedures.
