Ken Alfonso - Head Coach
Born in Stockton CA, I started swimming for my community pool at age five and have been involved in aquatics ever since. Water polo and swimming have been an integral part of my life. I started coaching swimming at 18 and I've coached water polo for 20 years. My coaching experience has been with novice community swimmers all the way up to collegiate athletes and elite high school players with the Olympic Development Program for USA Water Polo. Teaching and coaching at my high school alma mater for 8 years was a terrific experience. I moved up to Washington in 2009 to marry my wife Yuki. We have four children. I look forward to another summer coaching at Olympic View, sharing what I know about the sport I love and having another fun summer!
Riley Duvall - Assistant Coach
Born in Seattle, I started swimming with OV when I was 5 years old. I started playing water polo in 6th grade and fell in love with the sport. I now have 6 years of summer water polo experience and 2 years of high school water polo experience. I plan on playing in college this upcoming fall at Western Washington University. This is my first time coaching water polo and I am so excited to pass on my love and knowledge of the game to those starting out. I can't wait to start a fantastic summer.
