Please join us in welcoming back our fantastic Head Coach Ryan Fish and Assistant Coach Sarah Woods.  We are excited to welcome Brenanne Axelson to our coaching staff.

Our coaches encourage kids of all ages and ability to join – every swimmer is a valuable member of our team!

 

‚ÄčHead Coach Ryan Fish

Ryan has been the Head Coach with Willowdale for 6 seasons and has 6 years’ experience coaching all levels of competitive swimming. He has coached at Burlington County College for the Jersey Devil Rays swim team. He also coached the Rancocas Valley Regional High School Girls Swim Team in 2011. Ryan was a competitive swimmer for Westwood Swim Club from ages 4-18 and a 4 year varsity swimmer at Rancocas Valley where he specialized in the breast stroke and individual medley. After graduating high school Ryan attended Wesley College, Dover DE and played 4 years of NCAA soccer and tennis. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and is currently a health and physical education teacher as well as a USA Swimming coach for YBCC.  He enjoys spending free time with friends and his awesome dog Toby. 

 

 

‚ÄčAssistant Coach Sarah Woods

Sarah grew up in Cherry Hill and has been a part of Tri-County swimming for over 17 years. She swam for Old Orchard from the ages of 5 to 18, and was a swim instructor for their Learn to Swim program. Sarah swam varsity for Cherry Hill East, and went on to attend Messiah University where she swam for the Falcons as a breaststroker, contributing to 4 consecutive conference championship titles and earning All-Conference Honors. Sarah has a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology and currently works as a Counselor. Sarah also coaches for MLY Phoenix where she serves in several roles, including assistant coach of the MLY National Team. This is Sarah's 5th summer as part of the Willowdale coaching staff, and she is looking forward to another great season!
