Tri-County Swim Conference
The Tri-County Swim Conference is a swimming league comprised of 8 teams in the South Central region of Wisconsin - Baraboo, Cross Plains, Mt. Horeb, Mazomanie, Sauk Prairie, Spring Green, Sun Prairie, and Wisconsin Dells. Anyone living in the school district of a particular team is eligible to swim for that team.
Tri-County dual meets are weekly during June and July. There are 7 dual meets and a 2-day Conference Championship meet (always the last weekend of July).
Age is computed as of June 1st each year to determine the age group in which swimmers compete. Swimmers are allowed to swim in at most 3 individual events and 1 relay OR 2 individual events and 2 relays at each dual meet. Some swimmers will swim for points and some will swim exhibition as determined by the coaches. Teams are limited to 3 swimmers per event to swim for points. Teams can have unlimited relays, typically 2-4. All swimmers must report to the clerk of course at swim meets, which is a staging area for their events.
Individual events in meets include: freestyle, backstroke, individual medley (IM), breaststroke, long free, and butterfly. Relays include medley relay and free relay.
