QuickSilver’s goal is to help each athlete reach their highest individual potential.  Whether you are swimming for fitness or striving for competition, the goal is to improve technique and be a more efficient swimmer through the season.  Technique reduces injury in the sport and helps kids enjoy the swimming over the years.  We fall in line with USA Swimming best practices, where there is a planned progression for each athlete to add on and develop over time.  Athletes are separated by age and skill, to ensure 10-year-olds are not training with 16-year-olds regardless of skill level, but being challenged within that age-specific practice environment.  Young athletes (think 10 & unders) should not be doing extensive yardage such as long distances in practices.  There needs to be build up and progression to continue to improve.
