HOX Swim Team - Swimmer Equipment List


REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

  • Reusable Water Bottle
    • Best to have it filled when swimmers arrive for practice, there is a water fountain on-deck where swimmers can re-fill; please put swimmers name on water bottle
  • Athletic Swimsuit for Practice (e.g., TYR, Speedo, Dolfin)
    • Fashion swimsuits & swim trunks are not permitted, competition-style, athletic swim suits are best for learning to swim, train and compete
  • Googles x2 – Primary and Backup Pair
    • Swimple goggles are recommended for younger swimmers
    • Speedo Vanquisher goggles are recommended for older swimmers
  • Swim Cap
    • Required for those with hair longer than chin length; recommended for others
    • Silicone cap recommended over latex
  • Swim Fins
    • Long /Floating fins for swimmers 10 and Under (e.g., Sporti, Speedo, or Finis)
    • Short/Training fins for swimmers 11 and Up (e.g., Zoomers)
  • Towel
  • Sneakers (Summer Only for Dryland Training)
