Our Coaches


Jen is entering her 9th season as head coach of SST.  She brings enormous experience to our team as a coach, child care professional and swimmer.  Since age 5, Jen has been swimming competitively from her town team, to USA swimming to college.  For the past two decades, Jen has been competing in triathlons and has qualified for the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii five times.  Jen has successfully coached Natick High school for the past 9 years and was named Boston Globe All-Scholastic Coach of the Year in the fall 2014.  Prior to coaching, she worked for 12 years as a mental health counselor with children.  When not on the pool deck, Jen works at Longfellow as a master’s swim coach, spin instructor and certified fitness trainer.  She is also a USAT certified triathlon coach.   Jen lives with her husband and son in Framingham.


Matt's swimming career began early, and in high school he was a five-time All American and two-time New York State Champion.  His swimming career continued at Boston College where he was a varsity member of the Eagles for four years and set three school relay records.  Matt has earned his certification for Safety Training as a Swim Coach by the American Red Cross.  He was an assistant USA Swim Coach for the Syracuse Chargers in his hometown of Syracuse, NY before moving to the Boston area and coaching Masters programs at the JCC in Newton and Atkinson and at Sudbury Swim and Tennis.  This will be Matt's fifth year with SST.


Cara grew up in Sudbury and was one of the original members of the Sudbury Swim Team.  She has been part of the SST coaching staff since graduating from college in 2006.  She swam for both Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School and at the USA level specializing in the IM events and the butterfly.  She graduated from the University of Richmond where she played four years of water polo.  She has worked as a lifeguard and swim coach at Greenwood Swim & Tennis Club since 1999.  She has her Masters Degree in Elementary Education and is dual certified in Special Education.  She has taught in the Sudbury and Lincoln public schools and is currently a middle school special educator in the Natick Public Schools.  Additionally, she is currently the assistant swim coach for the Natick High School Women's swim and dive team.  She recently married and is living in Sudbury with her husband and dog Bodhi.


Molly is entering her fourth season as a coach with the Sudbury Swim Team.  Molly grew up in upstate New York, where she swam and competed at the high school, collegiate and USA levels.  After graduating from college, she started teaching 5th grade and coaching in the Albany, NY area.  She has coached age level USA teams, high school swimming, and Division I Swimming and Water Polo.  She is currently a Special Education teacher in Acton.
