Operations:This is the area that requires the most volunteers. The jobs support the planning and operation of swim meets and are fun and easy. It is a really good place to start. Examples are timers, program sales, hospitality, safety marshals, concessions, apparel sales, announcers and general maintenance. There are also specialized roles involved in running the scoreboard and timing systems that require focused training. Contact: Open
Communications:This area is a great fit for those who like to photograph swimming/diving, write articles for aquatics newsletters or web-based communications and related graphics. Public relations and developing recognition programs and activities are a part of this area. Contact: Open
Development: This area focuses organizational, financial and volunteer development. It consists of a wide variety of organizational needs as we continue to grow, fund raising plans and activities, relations with sponsors and coordinating and preparing volunteers. Education:This area provides a range of training materials and orientation sessions to help inform parents, athletes and the community. Examples include parent meetings, articles on health and diet for athletes, promotional material on the benefits of aquatics activities and how to get involved in supporting aquatics in our community.
