Freeski PARK (Grades 4-6) Junior Freeski Park Team, Grades 4th-6th

The Freeski Program encompasses all the terrain park disciplines including Slope-style, Half-pipe, and Big Air. An emphasis is placed on jumping and safety as athletes learn to use the Hoot Brown Terrain Park, and existing natural features on the mountain to master various aerial maneuvers while encouraging creativity and personal style. Directed free-skiing on the entire mountain remains the basis for learning turning technique. Competition is not obligatory; however athletes interested in competition have the opportunity to compete in USASA competitions. Dryland training is highly recommended.

• Minimum Requirement: Ability to ski double black runs

• USSA & RMD membership is required. Not included in program fees.

  • 2nd Sat., December  – 3rd Sat., March
  • 9:30-3:30 Saturday and Sunday
  •  Plus Ski PE Schedule (5 weeks)
  • 6 days Holiday Break Camp Dec.

Pricing.  Program pricing are based on on-snow training days.  Travel training and competition coaching have additional expense to cover coach housing/travel. Programs 7th grade+ include dryland Oct  - December.​​

Champ Freeski Team, Grades 7th-12th

The Champ Freeski Team encompasses all the terrain park disciplines including Slope-style, Half-pipe, and Big Air. An emphasis is placed on jumping and safety as athletes learn to use the Air Garden Terrain Park, and existing natural features on the mountain to master various aerial maneuvers while encouraging creativity and personal style. Directed free-skiing on the entire mountain remains the basis for learning turning technique. Competition is not obligatory; however athletes interested in competition have the opportunity to compete in USSA, USASA, and/or professional (X Games, U.S. Open) competitions. Dry land training is highly recommended.

• Tues. & Wed. School Release and Extended School Release must be arranged with THS on an individual basis
