Swimmer's Ear
Swimmer's Ear is an infection of the ear canal caused by too much moisture being left in the ear for a long period of time.  However, Swimmer's Ear is easy to prevent by adding a few drops of a mixture of alcohol and peroxide into the ear after swimming.  This quickly dries out and sanitizes the ear and eliminates the risk of infection.  Two popular brands of this mixture available at most drug stores and grocery stores are Auro-Dri and SwimEar.  These products are designed to prevent Swimmer's Ear, not to cure an already infected ear.  If you feel your swimmer may already have an ear infection, please seek medical treatment.
