JUNIOR OLYMPIC III Gold and Blue

Location: Santa Clarita Aquatic Center, Castaic, COC

 

 

Swimmers ages 13-14 can apply to join our JO III Groups.  The Gold and Blue levels are designated to keep those swimmers that are capable of being at the JO level in smaller teams of athletes that are similar in development and daily abilities.  The objective of all JO III workouts is to help the swimmers gain the skills necessary to be ready for our Senior groups and reach the Sectional, Junior National, and National level.  The training methods and techniques used are similar to the Senior groups and designed to prepare you for the elite levels of swimming while still making fundamentals and versatility a priority. This group has an 85% attendance requirement. Move ups can occur at any time.  

 

JUNIOR OLYMPIC II Gold and Blue

Location:  Santa Clarita Aquatic Center, Castaic, COC

 

The Junior Olympic Gold Group is made up of 11-12 year olds who have achieved Junior Olympic Time Standards. The Gold and Blue levels are designated to keep those swimmers that are capable of being at the JO level in smaller teams of athletes that are similar in development and daily abilities. Practice is designed to maintain fundamental skills while training at a level that will prepare the swimmers for our JO3 programs.  More advanced start, stroke, and turn techniques are introduced. Core and strength building dryland is also included. These groups have an 85% attendance requirement.

 

 

JUNIOR OLYMPIC I

Location: Castaic Aquatic Center, Castaic, COC

 

The Junior Olympic I Group is made up of 8-10 year olds who have achieved Junior Olympic Time Standards.  Athletes in this group must be highly motivated and ready to contribute to the team environment. Practice is designed to continue to introduce fundamental skills while training at a level that will prepare the swimmers for moving up through the JO program.  More advanced start, stroke, and turn techniques are introduced.   Core and strength building dryland is also included.
