FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS

REGISTRATION

All swimmers must hold a current Southern California Swimming (SCS) membership in order to participate. Proof of age and membership in HVDA and SCS are required at the time of registration. 

SCS registration requires an annual fee of $72.00 which includes unlimited swim meet participation. Flex registtration is $20 annually and includes 2 swim meet participation.  If you are eligible for the free or reduced lunch program, the cost is reduced to $7.00. A letter of proof from the school district upon registration is required.  Swimmers must pay the SCS registration fee before they enter the pool.

 

MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP DUES

Red Group                          $85.00 monthly                                 Silver Group                      $100.00 monthly

Blue Group                         $90.00 monthly                                 Gold Group                        $110.00 monthly

Bronze Group    $95.00 monthly                                                  

High School Seasonal  $90 monthly . Three times  a week swim. 

Masters (18 yrs +)            $55.00 monthly and depending on lane availability. 

$5 Administration fee per family

 

*There is a $10 discount for each additional swimmer. Dues are billed by the 1st of each month and should be paid upon receipt.  Payment is due by the 5th of the month and will incur a $20 late fee on the 6th of the month for any unpaid amount.  The swimmer will not be allowed to enter the pool on the 11th if dues are not paid fully.  It is the parents responsibility to check the status of their account to make sure payment is complete and up to date.  Any returned checks will incur a $20.00 fee, applied to your next month’s bill.

MEET FEES

Participation in meets is optional, but strongly encouraged. The cost to participate in meets is not included in monthly dues. These vary by each meet. Meet fees are due at the time you register your swimmer for the meet. Please consult with your swimmer’s coach before registering your swimmer for their first meet.

HOME MEET FEE

Hemet Valley Dolphin Aquatics hosts two (2) swim meets per year. Each family will be charged a fee of $30.00 the month prior to a home meet, in order to help support the costs associated with hosting a meet. This fee ill be added to your monthly bill the month prior to the scheduled meet. This fee helps to cover the various costs associated with hosting a meet including; facilities, officials, snack bar supplies, awards, and other miscellaneous expenses. If you have any questions regarding this fee, please feel free to speak with any board member.

 

VACATION POLICY

We no longer provide credit for vacation.

 

MEDICAL ISSUES

If a swimmer is unable to swim due to a prolonged medical condition or injury, the team will not bill for the time missed due to illness. The team must be notified in writing within 3 days of missed practice to be reimbursed for medical illness.

 

LEAVING THE TEAM

Written notice is required prior to withdrawing your swimmer from the team. Once a month has been billed you are responsible for the dues for the month. In order to ensure you are not billed for the next month, please provide notice of withdrawal by the 15th of the month. 

 

The executive board of Hemet Valley Dolphin Aquatics reserves the right to deny membership to anyone based on actions, past or present, that do not support the mission of of Hemet Valley Dolphin Aquatics  .  Members that have chosen to leave Hemet Valley Dolphin Aquatics to join another team in Southern California may be denied re-entry.  Reasons for denial may include, but are not limited to, public defamation of Hemet Valley Dolphin Aquatics, threatening actions toward any member, parent, executive board, coach or purposeful destruction of club property.
