Competitive (Age 6-18)
*Must be USA Swimming Registered*
Bronze: This group is for beginning level swimmers, ages 5-10, who are interested in the sport of swimming. In this group swimmers will be taught the proper technique for all strokes and learn how to train correctly. This is an introduction to competitive swimming.
Silver: This group is for beginning to intermediate level swimmers. 7-10; In this group, stroke technique for all four strokes is reinforced and s
swimmers will learn competitive swimming terminology.
Silver 2: This group is an introduction to competitive swimming, ages 11-18; The focus of this group is proper technique for all four strokes and learning how to train correctly. There will also be an emphasis on swimmers trying out for their High School Swim Team.
Gold: This group is for intermediate to advance age group level swimmers. In this group swimmers will continue to enhance their technique in all four strokes and focus on endurance training to compete at the highest age group competitions. These swimmers are encouraged to aim for Age Group Invites and Jr. Olympics.
Pre-Senior: This group is for the advance level swimmers. These swimmers have achieved Age Group Invites and/or higher. Introduction to yardage-based workouts with strength and conditioning focused dry land.
Senior: This group is for the advance level swimmers. These swimmers are encouraged to look beyond age group swimming such as Sectionals / Jr. National / National and College. This group is for the serious and committed swimmers who proven that they are ready for Senior level training. Swimmers can expect workouts to consist of high levels of yardage, speed work, and strength and conditioning with dry land.
