PACK FOR PERFORMANCE! WHAT TO BRING TO A SWIM MEET...
•Black ARENA competition suit (wear it to the meet so there is no chance of forgetting it)
•2 ZAP swim caps*
•2 pairs of adjusted goggles*
•ZAP hat or beanie, depending on weather
•black warmups or shorts
•1 towel per event
•chair and/or sleeping bag to sit on
•change of clothes for after the meet
•Healthy food/snacks and drinks (snack bars do not always offer smart choices for swimmers. Stay away from the donuts, muffins, soda and candy. Given their salt content, Cup O' Noodles aren't so great either...)
•stuff to do (homework, cards, Legos, games, etc... WE DO NOT RECOMMEND iPODS or DS games as they are very isolating and do not promote team or comraderie). Parents we recommend you bring a book too!
•trash bag (keep in in the side pocket of your bag in case it rains)
*These should be with the swimmer all the way up to the blocks. If their cap breaks on the block having a spare will do no good if it is all the way back in the team area in their swim bag.
