Daily Training - 90 minutes, 2-6 practices per week
Goals - This group is for swimmers who are still developing the skills necessary for the sport of swimming. The training focus is teaching 4 legal strokes, starts, turns, and aerobic development. This group will teach the swimmer how to train on an interval, understanding swimming sets, and how to work with teammates.
Equipment - The equipment listed below needs to be purchased as soon as possible and must be brought to every practice. Check with the coaches for purchasing sources and what types may be best for your swimmer:
- Swim Cap
- Water bottle (with name on it)
- Tennis ball
- Shoes, shorts and shirt for dry land training
