Practice Schedule

2020 Modified Practice Schedule

Tuesday/Thursday OR Wednesday/Friday Sessions

12 & Up: 7:30-8:30am

6-8: 8:40-9:40am

9-11: 9:50-10:50am

Swim sessions will consist of only (12-16) swimmers. There will be a limit of two swimmers per lane with one swimmer in the water and the other swimmer on the deck in a designated area maintaining the required social distance until directed to enter the pool.

There will be another group of swimmers performing dryland exercises on the East Side of the pool deck.

Each session will last sixty (60) minutes two (2) times per week until CDD, CDC and the Governor’s executive orders / restrictions are lifted or adjusted to allow larger groups within the same time slot.

Should / when restrictions / guidelines allow higher numbers of group participation, swim session time slots would then be increased to four (4) practice per week, Tuesday through Friday.

We will follow all CDD guidelines, CDC guidelines, and Florida Governors Executive Orders throughout the 2020 Summer Swim Season. Swim sessions will provide a fun learning environment focusing on stroke & turn, speed, agility, strength and endurance. Swimmers have two options for the training sessions as outlined below.

“Barracuda Practice times are developed and designed to enhance your swimmer’s experience by focusing on; set development, age group/individual expectations, team building, and ultimately the health and safety for all swimmers on the Bartram Springs Barracuda Swim Team. All swimmers are expected to attend their assigned practice schedules on a daily basis. Please contact Head Coach Ben Rowan ([email protected]) for any questions regarding this season’s practice times.”
