BRIAN NABETA, HEAD COACH

Brian Nabeta has coached various club and college teams throughout his years of coaching experience and was recently awarded the 2017 Coach of the Year at the NCSA Junior National Championships. Brian swam competitively since his elementary years and chose to coach swimming as his career because he wanted to inspire others and transfer his passion for swimming.  Brian's love of the sport and his personal desire to see members of the DART family succeed in life is what makes the DART at Sacramento team successful and special.

One of Brian's known strengths is his support of athletes through the college recruitment process and continued guidance in their college years and beyond.  He has helped hundreds of athletes find the best 'fit' for them and has helped many obtain athletic and/or academic scholarships.  Brian thrives on the feedback from college coaches and swimmers that DART Swimmers are often one of the few athletes who enter college programs not only already having great discipline and work ethic in the pool but also have foundations of weight-training.
