Senior / National

Daily Training: 135-180 minutes, 6-8x per week, 4400-5200 meters daily

Practice Times: Varies by location

USA Swimming Registration: Required

Goals:The Senior/National training group is our highest level offered. Athletes in this group understand the aerobic/anaerobic threshold, race pace and strategy, stroke tempo, and the importance of dryland training. The Senior/National group has proper time management skills and is dedicated to the sport of swimming. Coaches emphasize 100's and 200's of each competitive stroke as well as 400 IM's and 500+ freestyle practice. Swimmers master drills with proper technique and efficiency and have an incredible training ethic and attitude. 

Admittance Requirements: Admittance to all swim groups is dependent upon swimming ability as well as coaches' discretion. Swimmers in the Senior/National group are expected to demonstrate the following:

  • 10 x 100 Freestyle on 1:15
  • 8 x 100 Kick on 1:30
  • 5 x 200 IM on 2:45
  • Good Training Ethic
  • Team Player
  • Growth Mindset
  • Ability to Set Short & Long Term Goals

Equipment: Items below are required. They must be purchased before the start of enrollment and must be brought to every practice.

  • Swim cap
  • Goggles
  • Mesh equipment bag
  • Water bottle
  • Long Fins (Boot, No Strap)
  • Kick Board
  • Pull Buoy
  • Hand Paddles (Green StrokeMaker or Speedo IM M/L)
