Participants in the SASO Masters must be registered with USA masters. A one-day trial period is offered for any swimmer that is not registered.
All participants MUST be able to swim 50 yards in the deep end of the pool without stopping.
Visiting swimmers from other masters teams can join SASO workouts at a drop-in rate. Visiting swimmers MUST provide proof of USA Masters registration.
Masters participant general meetings/social will be held two times per year (once in the fall and once in the spring.)
Lane Etiquette/Pool Rules
Swimmers must swim in designated masters lanes. If conditions permit, swimmers will be grouped by slow, medium and fast.
If two or more swimmers are using a lane, swimmers MUST circle swim.
Swimmers may use equipment during sets as long as it does not disrupt the workout or lane.
Participants of the program must follow all SASO Swimming, SASO masters and College of Solano pool and facility rules. This includes parking lot and locker room rules.
All participants are able to purchase a Solano College parking pass each semester. Information and applications are available on the SASO website.
