Awards-2018-19 Season
Congratulations to all of our awards recipients for the 2018-19 season. This included participants, performance, scholastic and coaches awards. We are proud of all of the accomplishments of our swimmers as well as our team.
We will continue to build and update this pages as we recognize various awards recipients thru social media, on our website as well as at the pool.
Abby David Senior Swimmer-High Point Short Course Season
Abby David was recognized at the SASO awards banquet as the Senior Short Course High Point winner. Achievements included 14 team records, top 10 in several events in Sierra Nevada Swimming and attending CIF State Championships and USA Sectionals in Texas. Her qualifying times include #springjuniornationals #usafutures #usasectionals.
Lizzie Johnson-Age Group High Point Winner (Short and Long course)
Congratulations to Lizzy Johnson, who was selected as the Age Group High point winner for both the Short Course and Long Course Seasons. Lizzy is one of the top swimmers in her age group in Sierra Nevada swimming, both as an 8 and under and a 9-10 year old. She is currently ranked in the top 10 in several events in the SN swimming 9-10 division as a 9 year old.
Lizzy competed at JO Champs, SWAGR and Far Western champs. Lizzy broke 6 SASO team records at and 8 and under this previous season. Three of her swims last season as an 8 and under rank her in the top 10 All Time in Sierra Nevada Swimming. #sasoawards #congratulations #gootters #sasoproud
