Monthly Training Plan

 
 

Monthly Training Plans-Winter 2021

We will be following monthly training plans for the first three months of the winter season.  The plans will include the following:


Week 1                     Technique and Kicking focus

Week 2                     Increase volume/additional technique and kicking focus

                                  Test Set (weekend)

Week 3                     Increased volume and intensity

                                 Race Day (weekend)

Week 4                     Focus on performance/skills

                                 Swim Meet

 

*The Age Group and Otter plan will slightly differ from the Junior/Senior plan.  The focus will be less training and more technique, skills development, fun and fitness.

Stroke Technique Drills

Drills will be sent out on a weekly basis as well as posted on the website.  This section will be updated on a monthly basis.

Back-Modified Catchup, One arm, 2/2/2

Breast-Kick with Breath, Double Kick, Breast with Dolphin Kick

Fly-Extended Kick, Side Kick, One Arm-Straight Arm Recovery
