About Truckee Tahoe Swim Team
Truckee Tahoe Swim Team (TTST) is a year-round competitive youth swim team based in North Tahoe / Truckee, California. It is our goal to provide a fun, competitive environment that fosters a life-long love of the sport. Click here to learn more about groups and joining our team.
TTST is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit youth sports team supported by a volunteer Board of Directors and a professional coaching staff.
TTST is recognized as a USA Swimming Bronze Medal team. Here is what USA Swimming says about achieving this recognition: "In its 17 th year, the Club Excellence program identifies clubs that execute strong, well-rounded programs to produce elite 18-and-under athletes. The top 20 clubs earn Gold level ranking and those rated 21-100 are designated as Silver honorees. The next 100 clubs are recognized at the Bronze level. “Earning a Gold, Silver or Bronze ranking is a reflection of the hard work and time invested by athletes and coaches and has become a highly coveted honor for our teams. To see new clubs earn a spot on this list is exciting and a testament that the future of club swimming continues to be bright,” said Pat Hogan, USA Swimming’s Club Development Managing Director. “On behalf of USA Swimming, I want to congratulate each of the 200 clubs that have earned a ranking in the 2018 program.”
TTST Swimmers generally train at the new Truckee-Donner Community Pool located at the recreation center . Click here for more pool info.

Sierra Nevada LSC
Local Swimming Committees, or LSCs, are regional governing bodies. They are in charge of sanctioning meets, qualifying officials, and organizing championships. TTST belongs to the Sierra Nevada Swimming LSC. Click here to visit the Sierra Nevada Swimming website, where you can learn about swim events in our region.
Pacific Swimming is our neighbor LSC. Our team competes in both Sierra Nevada and Pacific meets. When the Sierra Nevada LSC was formed, teams in our region had a choice to either stay with Pacific or join the new Sierra Nevada LSC. We chose Sierra Nevada, while some of our neighboring teams chose to stay in Pacific. We, as a team, can swim in any Pacific meet that is not one of their championship meets. We also belong to the High Country League, which is comprised of most mountain teams in both Sierra Nevada and Pacific.
