Swimming Lessons: Streamliner Aquatics Swim School Policies
Classes are schedule in 30 minute blocks. Teachers will let the children out a few minutes early in order to update parents of the students’ progress, and gather the students in the next class.
Class Size and Content-
Classes are set up with a maximum of 3 students to 1 teacher for lower levels and 4:1 in upper levels. Classes are grouped together by ability, not age. Students do progress at different rates, so chances of each student being exactly the same skill level is very rare. Please have confidence in our program and teachers, that your child will learn the skills they need and get the appropriate amount of attention regardless of the level make-up of the class.
Registration and Payment:
Registration can be done over the phone or through email. Payment is due on the first day of class. We accept cash, check and debit/credit cards. Transactions made by debit/credit card will be charged a $2 per child fee. There is a one day grace period for late payments. If you are paying on the second day, payment will only be accepted by debit/credit card. If payment is not received by the second class, your child will not be allowed to swim. Payment plans are available. Please email Janea Walker at email@example.com to set one up.
Cancelations made after the start of classes will have no refund of any kind.
One make class per family, per session will be allowed. Make up classes are held on the Monday or Tuesday following the end of the session.
Parent Seating Areas-
Parents are permitted on the pool deck and around the pools but not at the waters edge. Please, respect this rule as it is only to keep you and your child safe, and to allow your child the best environment in which to learn.
Both Men’s and Women’s locker rooms, including showers and restrooms, are provided for your use. We ask that you do NOT change your children on the pool deck before or after their lesson. Children over the age of 5 are not permitted in the opposite sex locker room.
No children are allowed use of the hot tubs during lesson times. If you are a member of IAC, they request that you wait until family swim hours to allow your child in the hot tub.
Streamliner Aquatics instructors are CPR Certified and Lifeguard Certified. They also received monthly evaluations and conduct recertification tests on all levels.
Many are competitive swimmers themselves, and enjoy working with children. Consistency of instructors is very important to us, but illness and unforeseen events still occur. In the case that an instructor is unable to make it we will provide a substitute. You may request a specific teacher and we will try to accommodate your request, but we are unable to guarantee that you will get that instructor.
We at Streamliner Aquatics appreciate the opportunity to work with you and your children, and thank you for your understanding of our policies. Have a great time, and we wish your children happy swimming!
