Josh Grenell

Assistant Swim Coach

Certified USA Swim Coach

Lifeguard / First Aid / CPR / AED Certified

My name is Joshua Grenell (usually go by Josh for short) and I am looking forward to working with your swimmers at Circle C. I grew up in Kansas City where learned to swim at a young age, but did not begin my competitive swimming career until I was 13 with the COOL swim team. I swam in high school all four years and continued competing nationally in USA Swimming with the Kansas City Blazers swim team until 2012.

I started my coaching career in Kansas City as well with the Kansas City Blazers. During my 9 years there I coached all ability levels from brand new swimmers to national qualifiers as well as Masters. Additionally, I have coursework in athletic and physical training and help run the Strength and Conditioning parts of practice as well as swimming. Swimming has become a keystone in my life and I am grateful to share my experience with a new group of swimmers.

I look forward to seeing everyone on deck at Circle C!

Alex Weber

Assistant Swim Coach

Certified USA Swim Coach

Lifeguard / First Aid / CPR / AED Certified

With a passion to teach and the love for swimming, Alex Weber is a certified USA swimming coach that has been with the Circle C program for 2 years. He swam for 6 years at Belton ISD which is where he began his swimming career. Once graduating from high school, he started teaching swimming lessons at the New Braunfels Aquatic Complex pool during the summers. He taught individuals ranging from infants to older adults in the 6 years, post-graduation, how to be safe in and around the water first, then competitive strokes and form to ready them for the swim team. Starting in 2018, Alex wanted to spread his knowledge of swimming and teaching to a more advanced level of swimming, so he began coaching and instantly fell in love with it. There is nothing more rewarding than watching the swimmers improve and enjoy their time in the water.

Alex’s main goal in coaching is to get the swimmer to love swimming and acquire self-improvement and motivation. He cannot wait to coach your swimmer to be the best swimmer they can be!
