SES swimmers attend zone Diversity & Inclusion camp

William Henderson (GPAC) and Keeley Stevenson (PCST) were selected as the Southeastern Swimming representatives for the Southern Zone Diversity & Inclusion camp held June 22-25 in Charlotte, NC. This was the first time that athletes from the LSC had attended the camp.

Along with as many as 40 other swimmers from across the southeast from Texas to North Carolina, the athletes got to experience challenging workouts from a staff of diverse coaches, as well as meet Olympian Kaite Meili and listen to her inspirational stories on goal setting and Olympic glory. The swimmers also got to go white water rafting at the U.S. National White Water Center in Charlotte.

The next Southern Zone Diversity & Inclusion camp will be held during the summer of 2019. More information will be available on the Southeastern Swimming web site in the future.
