Joanna Nami

Coach Joanna grew up in Houston, TX where she was part of the swim team and went on to continue as a cheerleader for Trinity University in San Antonio.  Post college, Coach Joanna began to miss the competition and challenge that the swim team had presented to her years back, and made the transition to triathlons and running events in 2005. Her involvement in the sport as an athlete herself for nearly a decade provides invaluable insight to the kids she'll be working with as the Houston JETpack's head coach.  Coach Joanna's devotion to family, faith, and racing, combined with her passion for introducing youth to the sport of triathlon, makes her the perfect fit for the Tri4Him Junior Elite and Developmental Teams.

Coach Dana

Dana has been an elementary physical education teacher and triathlete for 5 years.  After being involved in many sports throughout her life, she decided to put her focus into triathlon immediately following college graduation.  Her only regret?  Not starting it sooner!

As a coach, Dana prides herself in helping shape the future of triathlon in Tri4Him's youth and junior program.  She feels strongly that the key to success and enjoyment in the sport of triathlon is in finding the balance and cultivation of physical and mental preparation.  It is crucial to believe in yourself, and set specific, achievable/realistic goals to work towards.  Not only is it good to expect this of yourself, but another key to seeing it manifest if surrounding yourself with positive and caring individuals who want to see you make it happen; Coach Dana and the Tri4Him JETpack are those individuals!  Coach Dana is excited to be part of developing the youth of triathlon's tomorrow with Tri4Him!
