As a parent-run non-profit organization, 757swim relies upon our member families to fulfill Fundraising and Volunteer obligations.
Be sure to read full details of these Policies at About Us > Policies.
Every family that joins the team commits to a minimum fundraising amount. (Copper-only families have a reduced amount.) This minimum amount is budgeted income required for the team's operations. Each season, we will identify "vehicles" to help families meet their fundraising requirement. Vehicles may include selling raffle tickets, selling a team sponsorship, etc. Please see this year's policy for specifics. unt out of pocket. Payment may be made in a lump sum or by paying a portion with each monthly invoice.
All 757swim families (excluding Copper) will be assigned a volunteer role. Some roles require a significant commitment of time (e.g, Board Member or Meet Director), while other commitments are smaller in scale (e.g, event clean-up). We appreciate all of our volunteers; we couldn't run the team without you!
All families are also obliged to assist with 757swim-hosted meets. The number of required volunteer hours will vary according to the number of team members and the number of meets.
Finally, team members are expected to serve as timers at meets that their swimmers attend. Typically, timing responsibilities are divided among many families so that slots are no more than an hour per family per meet.
