Williamsburg Aquatic Club Scholarship Program

Williamsburg Aquatic Club is a non-profit organization with the mission to help our swimmers develop a lifelong interest in the sport of swimming, achieve personal goals and compete at the highest levels their capabilities allow. We are pleased to be able to offer both full and partial financial assistance for the Membership Dues, however any financial assistance granted will not include costs associated with meet fees, USA Swimming Registration and other charges.

The financial assistance program is designed to fit each family’s financial situation. Please understand the scholarship funds are limited. No applicant can be guaranteed to receive scholarship funds. Any award of scholarship funds will be based upon the application and the availability of funds on a first come first serve basis.

To apply for financial assistance, provide the following:

  1. Completed Financial Assistance Application with current information.
  2. A copy of last year’s signed tax return
  3. Any other documents reflecting your current financial position that you would like to provide, e.g. unemployment pay stub, indication that your child qualifies for federally funded lunch programs at school, disability check stub, indication that family receives food stamps. (Optional)
  4. Any other relevant information you would like to provide to assist with the application. (Optional)

Applications will not be considered unless all requested documentation is submitted. All financial information received will be held in the strictest confidence. The Scholarship Committee will review and recommend approval of applications.

The Scholarship Committee is comprised of three of the following:

  • Head Coach
  • President
  • Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Member at Large

Financial assistance is granted per session. An application must be resubmitted for each session by the 15th of the month prior to the beginning of a session.
