Caleb Carlson -- Technical Director and Boy's Coach
Caleb began his coaching career at the Bishops School in LaJolla, CA while attending college in 1995. He then moved to Fairfield, CA and became the head coach at Fairfield High School from 1999 to 2003, winning 3 league championships. During that same time he co-directed Suisun Bay Water Polo Club. Coach Caleb was selected as Head coach of the Junior and Cadet Central California Zone teams from 2001 – 2005, helping develop many of US Water Polo’s top athletes. After moving to San Jose in 2005, he began coaching the Pacific Zone teams where he helped the Junior team win a National Championship while serving as assistant coach at the National Age Group Championships. He was the Pacific Zone 12th grade under coach from 2006 - 2013 where he was selected as USAWP ODP coach of the year in 2013. He was moved to the Regional Technical Director for USA Water Polo Olypmic Development Programs and is currently the head coach at Valley Christian High School in San Jose. Also selected to serve as USA Water Polo Development National Team Assistant Coach, 2012 - 2014. During the summer of 2012 he was the assistant coach for the USA Junior National Team that took the silver medal in the UANA Championships in Montreal. His passion for developing water polo in the South Bay has spurred his passion for developing a competitive youth polo program using Silicon Valley Outlaws water polo club.
Shea Coleman--14U Head Coach
Coach Coleman has been coaching water polo for 6 years. Shea has had coaching experience prior to Outlaws with Live Oak Varsity (2009), Valley Christian Junior Varsity (2010 to 2012), and was the head varsity coach at Leland from 2012-2015. He has recently received his Master's degree in Sport Psychology and is a strong proponent of using mental skills to gain an edge over the competition. While attending high school at Live Oak he helped lead his team place 2nd in CCS in 2006. He was named All-American Honorable Mention that year and went on to play for West Valley Community College. While at West Valley he helped the Vikings win the 2007 JC Championship and in 2006 they were 2nd place finishers. Shea continues to play water polo and continually strives to be a student of the game. He is currently a P.E. teacher at Valley Christian and is dedicated to helping the youth grow and develop mentally and physically.
JT Matarangas -- HS Boys Assistant Coach
Bellarmine alumni and Stanford University All-American. Coached the Valley Christian JV in 2014 and is currently the Varsity team assistant.

Jordan Jensen -- Team Administrator and 10U Development Director
Helped start and found the Outlaws Middle School age group. Huge impact on our club and continues to help with the development of younger athletes and less experienced athletes.
Ross Morrill -- 18/16U Girls Head Coach
Coach Morrill has been coaching water polo since 2003. He currently coaches the women’s program at Valley Christian High School while serving as Student Ministries Pastor at Legacy Community in Los Gatos. After being an assistant for the program during the 2010 season, he took over has the Head Coach in 2011. During his tenure, the program has qualified for the Central Coast Section championship (CCS) tournament three of the four years Coach Morrill has been coaching. Coach Morrill’s coaching philosophy strongly revolves around building a strong competitive program while helping the ladies become the best version of themselves as possible. He started the women’s side of the water polo club in the winter of 2011. While playing at Lynbrook high school he was the Captain his Junior and Senior year while being selected as an All-League player both years. Coach Morrill continued playing water polo in College while attending West Valley Community College in Saratoga. Coach Morrill was part of the State Champion Team in 1998. Coach Morrill’s water polo and swimming career ended after being rear ended in an automobile accident.
Alisa Argend -- 14/12U Girls Coach
In high school Alisa played water polo and swam all four years at Ventura High School. She was selected to the 2010 all-county team and played with Santa Barbra Water Polo Club team for three years, winning the National Club Championships in 2009. She was also selected for Coastal California ODP team for three years as well, placing 2nd in the Regional Tournament two years in a row. After high school graduation, Alisa moved from Ventura California to San Jose to play water polo for four years at San Jose State University. Alisa began coaching after her senior year of high school. Her father was a local high school and club coach, so she often helped him. She has coached in three Junior Olympics: two with 16U boys and one with 18U girls. This past season was her first time being a head coach, coaching the girls JV team at Valley Christian.
Paige Robinson -- Girls Assistant
Coach Robinson grew up watching her brothers play water polo and said that she would never do it, but was pushed into playing polo by a coach and never looked back. While at Lynbrook High School she ended up playing goalie for polo as well as swam all 4 years. Went on to play goalie in division II at CSU Monterey Bay. Volunteer coached at Lynbrook High School Fall of 2015 and coached Girls Varsity Swimming at Lynbrook Spring 2016.Started coaching water polo this last year at Valley as the Varsity Girls Assistant Coach, but her main job is teaching 11th grade U.S. History at Valley.

Courtney Hernandez--Age Group Stroke Coach
Courtney Hernandez graduated Live Oak HS in 1996 and went on to swim at the University of San Diego. Upon her return she coached swimming at Live Oak HS and El Toro Aquatics in Morgan Hill for 7 years. During this time she also taught 3rd-5th grade. Although her focus was on swimming, she was often poolside supporting her three younger brothers who played water polo. She desires to help Outlaw players increase their endurance, improve their stroke technique, and become more efficient in the water.
