NOVA has made a difference in the lives of thousands of people since our founding in 1987. From the father wanting to ensure his preschool-aged child is safe around the water, to the elite swimmer and Olympic hopeful, to the grandmother swimming for fitness, NOVA's programs touch Richmonders of all ages. Swimming is a healthy and low-impact sport which can be practiced for a lifetime.
The NOVA community has benefited over the last 30 years from investments parents before us have made in the club - let's do the same for our current and future swimmers. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we rely on the financial support of our current and alumni swimmers; your contributions are tax deductible. We are one of the few swim clubs in the nation that owns its own pools. Your help will allow NOVA to grow with demand, and, as always, NOVA Power comes from many.
Making a pledge in support of the Sharp Pool will save our swim families significant money over time. Most NOVA families travel to several away meets during the long course season because a 50-meter pool is needed to host a long-course swim meet. Assuming that a weekend away costs $350.00+, staying at home will save $350.00 to $700.00 per year for each family.
We hope that you will support us with a gift and thank your for your consideration. To make a gift or to learn more, contact Ann McGee, NOVA Executive Director, at 804-750-1183 or email@example.com.
