Senior Swimming                                                                    

Ages: 13 and over


Perquisite: Swimmers must have achieved at one CCS time, sectional time or higher, commitment to workouts, meets or recommendation by the head coach. West Coast Aquatics Senior Swimming is the highest current level of swimming offered. Senior swimming trains for the highest-level competition in the United States.

Senior Competition Goals:

  • Senior swimmers will train to compete the highest levels:
  • 1 meet per month (average)
  • CCS
  • Training and competition trips
  • Sectionals
  • Futures
  • Junior Nationals
  • NCSA Spring Juniors
  • US Open
  • USA Olympic Trials (Omaha Nebraska 2020)
  • Japan 2020
  • College swimming

Daily training equipment:

  • Team Mesh bag
  • Hand paddles
  • Snorkel
  • Fins
  • Short Fins
  • 2 pairs of goggles
  • Water bottle
  • Two team caps


Winter Practice Times

September through May:

Monday through Thursday 4:15-6:30pm (Short Course)

Tuesday and Friday 5:00-6:30am (Short Course)

Saturday 7:00-9:30am (Long Course)

Dryland Monday and Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm (Coach JAH)


Summer Practice times

May through August:

Monday through Saturday: 6:30-8:45pm (Long Course)

Tuesday and Thursday: 4:30-6:00pm (Short Course)

Monday and Wednesday: Dryland 6:30pm-7:30pm


Attendance requirement: 90 percent.
