This group provides the transition from swim lessons to swim team. It is for those children desiring to learn more refined stroke technique and the basis of competitive starts and turns. This group is coached by an experienced competitive swimmer. No special equipment required.
This group is for swimmers who are new to competition, and will focus on technique and conditioning. There will also be strong emphasis on starts and turns as well as introducing training principles to participants. No special equipment required.
The focus on this group will be to refine competitive strokes, starts and turns. This group will concentrate on developing further conditioning and training for swimmers for competition. Swimmers should have their own Zoomers (short fins.)
This group is for experienced swimmers who have the ability and willingness to train at sustained levels for ninety-minute sessions. These swimmers will be expected to train 4 days per week. Swimmers should have their own Zoomers (short fins) and snorkel. A nose plug is also recommended.
This group will train swimmers for the highest level of competition. The training for this group requires that the swimmer is committed to attending 2 to 2 ½ hour practices 5 days a week and participating in most meets. During the Summer Season, there is also additional practice time scheduled for the most advanced swimmers. Swimmers should have their own Zoomers (short fins), snorkel, long dive fins and nose plug.
