  Katie Humitz- Head Coach
Coach Katie is an American Swim Coaches Association level 2 Coach, and is currently working towards achieving a level 3 status. Coach Katie began swimming at the age of 10 for West Bend Swim Club. She continued on through high school and swam in college at UW-Whitewater. Coach Katie specialized in Butterfly and the Individual Medley; she mainly swam the 100 and 200 Butterfly as well as the 200 and 400 IM. Coach Katie boasts about the phenomenal coaches she was fortunate enough to have throughout her career and hopes to be the same influential role model to all of her swimmers. When not on the pool deck she is typically enjoying time outdoors hiking and training/ competing in triathlons.
Christine Hintze: Coach
Christine Hintze as an Age Group Assistant Coach. She has three children: Aaron, Katelyn and Addison. Christine swam in New Berlin for 9 years, has lifeguarded and taught swim lessons at the Park & Rec level. She enjoys sewing, reading, camping and the outdoors. Christine is also a Disney fan. Her favorite character is Belle, she looks at what’s inside a person and that is what really matters.

Ziggy Cornegan: Coach

Coach Siegfried “Ziggy” Cornegan  is an American Swim Coaches Association level 5;2 Coach. Swam for James Madison HS in Milwaukee, WI. Served 6 years in the United States Navy as a Persian Gulf War veteran. In 2019 helped developed a 200 Fly Olympic trial qualifier at a swim club in LA that had the financial backing of Lenny Krayzelburg. Been an assistant coach at Sierra Canyon HS under Hall of Famer/Olympian Matt Biondi. Been on deck as a coach at 2019 LA Invite held by former USC Head Swim Coach Dave Salo, 2019 Phillips 66 National Championships. Had 10 swimmers place 12th at Wisconsin 12 & unders & Division 2 State Champions at 13 & over Wisconsin state championships. 

Also, I am a certified personal trainer for over 15 years Yoga certified, currently pursuing my Ritter Sports Performance Surge Strength Dryland Certification. In my off time I rode bike, breakdance and do Capoeira. I speak Russian and Japanese almost fluently and love science. My philosophy is simple, swimmers have fun and swim fast.
