Process of Evaluations
-Arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before the scheduled evaluation time.
-The pool entrance is on the side of the Waunakee High school that faces the parking lot in between the high school and middle school.
-When arriving at the pool, swimmers please enter through the main pool door and walk towards the blocks end and sit in the bleachers. We will be conducting other evaluations before and after, so please be respectful when entering.
-No parents on the pool deck. Parents can wait in the lobby (WITH MASKS ON!) for your swimmer. A coach will come out to the lobby after the evaluation to answer any questions you may have. Please understand that there will most likely be evaluations after your child, so coaches will have a limited amount of time to answer questions.
-Every swimmer should have 4 things: A mask, goggles, swim cap, and a towel. Everyone MUST wear a mask until just before they enter the water and as soon as they exit the water.
-Swimmers must be prepared to get in the water right away, as changing/locker rooms are NOT able to be used. We also have a limited amount of time to do the evaluation, so they must be ready to go once allowed on the pool deck.
-The evaluation should take no longer than 15 minutes.
-Once the evaluation is completed for your swimmer and a coach has dismissed them, you are free to leave, unless you have questions for a coach. I will be contacting parents through email within a few days to tell you which group to sign your swimmer up. If you decide to join our team, you may NOT sign your swimmer up for any other group than what is recommended to you.
