CSRC Swim Team Head Coach
• Works and communicates with parent board, assistant coach, swimmers and parents 
Position Summary:
Depending on the experience of the candidate, responsibilities may vary.  Coach is charged with the planning, organization and execution of training and racing for competitive swimmers, ages 5-19.   Candidate must be prepared to provide quality, hands-on coaching within a general set of philosophies while having the creativity, flexibility and passion to bring his or her own personal touch.  Coach will be involved in team relations including interactions with athletes, assistant coach, parents, and the parent board.  
Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Part-time coach
  • Responsible for writing seasonal plan and technical progressions  
  • On-deck coaching for up to 3.5 hours per day, 4-5 times per week
  • Must be able to work 6:30 - 11:00 am
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Strong background in competitive swimming
  • Must enjoy working with athletes below the age of 19
  • Administrative skills preferred
  • Candidate must pass the USA Swimming Foundations of Coaching exam
  • Candidate must pass a level 1 background check through USA Swimming
Compensation:
  • Dependent on qualifications and experience

  • Works and communicates with Head Coach,  team administrators and site coordinators
Position Summary:
Depending on the experience of the candidate, responsibilities may vary.  Coach is charged with the planning, organization and execution of training and racing for competitive masters swimmers, including a strong contingent of high level triathletes.   Candidate must be prepared to provide quality, hands-on coaching within a general set of philosophies while having the creativity, flexibility and passion to bring his or her own personal touch.  Coach will be involved in team relations including interactions with athletes, other coaches and team and site administrators.  Ensures all company services meet Pikes Peak Athletics standards.  Compensation is commensurate to candidate’s experience and workload.
Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Part-time coach
  • Responsible for writing seasonal plan and technical progressions within general guidelines
  • On-deck coaching for up to 1.5 hours per day, 2-3 times per week
  • Must be able to work early mornings, possible noon, weekends and evenings
  • Potential to earn extra hours coaching age group athletes
  • Potential to earn extra hours teaching group, semi-private or private lessons
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Strong background in competitive swimming
  • Must have developed own theories on swimming and training technique and philosophy
  • Willingness to learn new coaching methods and theories
  • Must enjoy working with adult athletes of all ages and ability levels from beginner to pro triathlete
  • Administrative skills preferred
  • Candidate must pass the USA Swimming Foundations of Coaching exam
  • Candidate must pass a level 1 background check through USA Swimming
  • Education in strength and conditioning preferred
