B/C Camps
These are open to any registered athlete of Oregon Swimming that meets the eligibility requirements. They are generally free of charge.

The Camp is open to all B/C swimmers of Oregon Swimming.  No swimmer may have an “A” Time and attend this camp. Feel free to send this link to any B/C swimmer in our LSC.  There is no charge for this camp. Please send your swimmer to camp with a sports drink or water. OSCA Clinic
During the House of Delegates, typically the first weekend in October, the Oregon Swim Coaches Association hosts a clinic. They will bring in an Olympic level athlete through Arena to run the clinic.
2018 Senior All Star Training Camp
Coronado, CA
April 19-22, 2018
24 athletes (12 girls/12 boys) will be selected for the 2018 OSI Senior All-Star Training Camp held April 19-22 in Coronado, CA.  Athletes must be a member of Oregon Swimming, be 13 years or older, and have a minimum of one Senior Sectional qualifying time to apply.  Cost will be $250 per athlete. Completed applications need to be submitted to Senior Chair Emily Melina (emily.melina7@gmail.comand Oregon Swimming Office (office@oregonswimming.org) by March 18th, 2018.  **For those OSI Swimmers attending the 4-Corners Sectional Meet in Phoenix, AZ, applications will be due Sunday, March 25, 2018.  Applicants NOT attending the 4 corners sectional meet still need to submit their applications by March 18, 2018. Final camp roster will be posted Tuesday, March 27. 
Head Coach for the Camp will be Christopher Pfaffenroth from THSC.  Athletes are expected to show up injury free, in good aerobic shape, and with a positive attitude!

Northwest U.S. Diversity Select Camp
May 4-5, 2018
Bainbridge Island, WA
The Northwest U.S. Diversity Select Camp is a two-day camp of training, education, motivation, team-building and leadership sessions.  Olympian Dana Kirk (currently a Head Coach at PASA) will be running several in and out of water sessions. Camp attendees will be selected from Pacific Northwest Swimming and Oregon Swimming, and will be combined into training groups of similar levels. $40 covers all transport, food, registration.
Athletes that participated last year are welcome to participate again.

LSC Select Camp
USA Swimming provides educational and motivational materials to run camps in the Local Swim Committee. The LSC Select Camps are designed as a combination of education sessions, social opportunities and water activities. Each LSC can choose their skill level and area of focus for the camp.

About the USA Swimming 2018 Western Zone Diversity and Inclusion Camp
 The Western Zone will host our 3rd Diversity and Inclusion Select Camp. The Zone Diversity Select Camps are viewed as an integral step for athletes to move from the local and zone level onto the national scene. Athletes will participate in a three-day camp program, which includes pool training, motivational, education sessions and team-building activities.
About the USA Swimming 2018 Western Zone Summit 
The summit is for your LSC D&I chair and a coach that wants to make a difference in their sport. The summit is presented by USA Swimming staff members. Summit participants will have the opportunity to engage in various discussions and activities that they can then utilize to help promote D&I in your LSC and in the sport of swimming.
Purpose: Celebrate the opportunities of/for diversity in Western Zone Swimming through inspiration of athletes, coaches, and volunteers. Create local ambassadors and leaders to grow our sport. 
Goals: Empower athletes and their coaches to: 
 • Demonstrate the viability of multicultural success in swimming within their local LSC
 • Achieve performance excellence throughout the sport 
 • Develop positive leaders and role models
 • Connect, network, and promote the virtues of the sport of swimming through a comprehensive strategy involving the athletes, coaches, and the LSC Diversity Chairs in their own local LSCs and throughout the Western Zone.

National Select Camp
This annual camp affords elite athletes between the ages of 14-16 an opportunity to travel to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs for several days to benefit from the resources and expertise there.
Zone Select Camp
These regional camps serve as introductory level programming for elite athletes between the ages of 12-14. Athletes are selected and grouped according to Zone and participate in a short swimming camp located somewhere within their Zone that touches on aspects of competitive swimming including technique, training, and nutrition.
Open Water Select Camp
Athletes are selected based on their performance in the pool and at open water competitions. The location of the camp varies from year to year.
Diversity Select Camp
This camp provides advanced performance services to under-represented populations of USA Swimming. Athletes are between the ages of 14-16 and participate in a camp at the Olympic Training Center that delves into topics such as technique, training, strength and conditioning, goal setting and leadership skills.

Team Sponsored Clinics
Individual teams within OSI will sometimes bring in an Olympian to run a one or two day clinic. Keep your eyes opened for these opportunities.

The Tornadoes Swim Team is hosting a 2-Day Clinic with Jacob Pebley. The Clinic will be held at the Clark County Family YMCA, 11324 NE 51st Circle, Vancouver, WA. and is limited to the first 125 athletes ages 9-18. For more information click here. To register go to www.tornadoesswim.org
Nike Camp
In the summer there are generally several dates and locations available in Oregon for athletes to attend an overnight camp.
College Camps
In the summer there opportunities to attend week long camps hosted by College teams. Keep your eyes opened for these.
