DACA Swim School Fall 2020
DACA Swim School is offering classes outdoors at Saratoga High School for students who have achieved the Purple Ribbon, Orange Ribbon, and Gold Star Fish. DACA Swim School classes at Saratoga High School are ongoing month-to-month during the fall. Classes will be held once per week on Saturday and Sunday for 40 minutes. There will be a maximum of six students in a class with one student per lane to comply with safety standards. For additional information on DACA safety protocols see the DACA website (www.daca.org). The classes are designed to improve and refine each student's swimming skills. All class registrations will be verified.
Fall 2020 Pre-Competitive Swimming
New students must be evaluated prior to registration. Be sure to choose the appropriate
class level. All class registrations will be verified. Selecting an incorrect class level may result in cancellation.
The DACA Pre-Competitive program is for children ages 5-14. It is an introductory program designed to improve each student's basic stroke and turn technique in preparation for the DACA Competitive Team. DACA Pre-Competitive is an ongoing month-to-month program. Classes are held once per week Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for 40 minutes. There will be a maximum of seven students in a class with one student per lane to comply with safety standards. For additional information on DACA Pre-Competitive safety protocols see the DACA website (www.daca.org) Students must be comfortable in deep water, able to swim 25 yards freestyle (with side breathing) and backstroke to qualify for the program. Students are assigned to a class level based on ability and age.
Adult Lap Swimming
The DACA Lap Swim Program is offered for deep water safe adults of all fitness levels. Participants must be 14 years of age or older.
