Academy of Texas Aquatic Champions Swim Club Lessons
Welcome to ATAC Swim Club Little Champions Swim School! Our goal is to teach your child the individual skills of swimming that will produce a competent swimmer. Our program allows students to continue building their abilities with positive reinforcement and repetition. Our small class sizes are designed for all children ages 3 and above and are taught by our USA registered Swim Coaches with many years of experience teaching young children the life skill of swimming.
We do not run a cookie-cutter lessons program. We offer individualized attention for every swimmer from beginner to advanced. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your child in the water and excited about swimming! Whether you are interested in joining a competitive swim team or just being water safe for the summer swim season, ATAC's Little Champions Swim School can get you there!
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A LEARN TO SWIM PROGRAM. We will teach how to blow bubbles, kick on the wall and eventually with a board, back floating and eventually back kick, pushing off the wall and blowing bubbles and eventually swimming with big arms. If your child already knows these skills, one of our other groups may be right for them. Lessons will cater to the most beginner of swimmers.

Learn to Swim Development Program
We donít have a cookie cutter method. Each swimmer is treated as an individual and they are never held back or pushed to achieve an unreasonable goal to be considered as "passing" the class. We have had many 3 year olds swimming butterfly by the end of 2-3 sessions.
The goal is to learn to swim on the stomach and back. Basic diving is taught as well. Once these are mastered we move on into more advanced strokes as well as object retrieval from the bottom of the pool.
Small class setting (4-5) per class. Instructors are in the water and are trained in CPR, First Aid, Water Safety Training. They are registered with USA Swimming as certified coaches. Our track record is proven. Where other swim programs fail, we can succeed. We teach in a repetitive progressive style moving on when the swimmers have mastered a skill.
Requirement: Must be 3 years of age at the start of the class. No fear of the water. There will be a few tears the first week or two as they adjust to the instructors and build trust with them. This should stop in 3 lessons or so. If it doesnít then your child may not be ready.
Goggles are recommend for this class. Swimmers with long hair will need to have hair in a ponytail, braid, or wear a swim cap.
