Great Lakes Sailfish Swimming Lessons
Welcome to GLSS programs registration. We offers a variety of opportunities for swimmers of all ages and abilities. When selecting a class, read the class descriptions carefully and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or are unsure of where to place your child.
All GLSS Programs charge a $40 annual registration fee per swimmer. This registration fee includes a USA Swimming Membership.

Junior Sailfish- Orange High School and Gilmour Academy
The Junior Sailfish Program is an introduction to competitive swimming. GLSS provides highly qualified coaches to work with small swim groups. They will focus on teaching proper technique in all 4 strokes, gaining endurance and learning the foundations of the sport while having fun! This is a great way to prepare newer swimmers for the GLSS competitive team.
● have the ability to swim a 25 of freestyle and backstroke
● have an idea of breaststroke and butterfly
This program runs for 6-8 week sessions out of Orange High School and/or Gilmour Academy. Classes are 45 minutes long and you can choose to attend one or multiple days per week.
Sailfish Prep is for swimmer 10-15 yrs of age who are newer to the sport or looking for a less competitive option. Coaches will focus on teaching proper technique in all 4 strokes, gaining endurance and having fun! This is a great way to prepare swimmers for middle school, high school or summer teams.
This program runs for 6-8 week sessions out of Orange High School. Classes are an hour to an hour and 15 minutes and you can choose to attend one or multiple days per week.
High School Training Program
The GLSS High School Training Program is for swimmers who compete for their high school but do not have a coach. Swimmers can practice with GLSS during the high school season, Oct 26-Feb 22. This program provides daily training only. GLSS coaches do not have any affiliation with swimmers? HS teams and should not be expected to coach swimmers at OHSAA meets.
