Sign ups for Spring 2021 will be opened Monday March 22, 2021 at 9 am with a credit card. Please sign up below, the system will automatically prorate lesson / clinic fees.
**Please note that due to , our lesson group names, criteria, etc has been changed.
It is now protocol that due to COVID instructors will not be in the water at this time.
Level I is for 6 months - 5 years with a parent. All ages will be working on age appropriate skills with their parent. This will include blowing bubbles, floating on the front and back, as well as arm strokes.
Level II is for ages 5 - 7 years old without a parent. Activities will include strong kicking on front and back, bilateral breathing, freestyle, breaststroke kicking, fly kicking and front somersaults.
Level III is for ages 8 - 11 years old. Activities will include freestyle and backstroke demonstrating a propulsive kick, bilateral breathing, breaststroke kicking, fly kicking, front somersaults, and drills for breaststroke and fly.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions there are NO make-ups at this time.

BERKELEY AQUATIC CLUB COMPETITIVE READINESS CLINICS SIGN UP
These clinics serve as a bridge program between the Berkeley Swim School and the competitive program.
CLINIC GOAL AND INSTRUCTION:
Instruction will include:
- Stroke drills and general stroke mechanics (skills to enhance potential transition to competitive program)
- An introduction to stroke transitions (skills to enhance potential transition to competitive program)
Competitive Readiness Clinic will take place in the Brewster Teaching Pool.
Athletes are asked to be on deck, changed and ready to swim 5 minutes before the start of the clinic. Equipment: students will need goggles, swimmers with long hair must wear caps.
Additional clinics will be scheduled throughout the year focusing upon different areas of competitive swimming. The goal of this series of clinics is to build upon the instruction provided through the Berkeley Swim School and better prepare athletes within the Berkeley Swim School to successfully transition to the Berkeley Aquatic Club Swim Team when there is room and the athlete is ready. Athletes interested in the team are encouraged to attend group lessons and clinics 2 - 3 days per week in order to continue to prepare from a technical and aerobic standpoint.
Refund Policy: There are NO refunds.
There will be no make ups offered for missed clinics.
MISSION: The mission of the Berkeley Aquatic Club is to develop student-athletes who are a credit to society. The Berkeley experience tends to shape and strengthen character throughout one's lifetime. Although Berkeley Aquatic Club strives to develop champion swimmers, the club measures success not only by national championships and college scholarships, but also by personal improvement, both in and out of the pool.
