Why Choose SwimAmerica?  SwimAmerica is a National Learn to Swim program developed by the American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA).  What coaches have learned teaching people to set world records we use to teach new swimmers to enjoy swimming with the best techniques in the world.

Central Chesapeake Swimming’s (PEAK) SwimAmerica program was one of five pilot programs started by ASCA in 1988. In our program we offer the best environment, professional instruction, up-to-date techniques, and have taught thousands of children to swim. PEAK is one of five locations in the state of Maryland that offers the program.  All learning is individually based. When your child passes the skills of a criteria for advancement they immediately begin working on the skills in the next level.  We don’t teach lessons.  We teach PEOPLE TO SWIM!
