This is NOT a swim team because we do not compete, but participants do practice all four major competitive strokes, learn flip turns, dives from the block, and we have mock races. We do have fun days and participate in relay races within the group.

Swimmers must complete the following requirements:

Must be able to swim and be comfortable in deep water.
Swimmers should be able to swim the length of the pool.
Swimmers will learn and practice the four major competitive strokes. They will work on building their endurance

Is your swimmer not ready for the big group? We do offer a 30 minute mini group lesson for swimmers who are not ready to swim the length of the pool and need a more hands on experience.

Big Group Swims 1:30pm-2:30pm
Mini Group Swims 2:30pm-3pm
Please register your swimmer (s) prior to the start of each session. Sessions run 3-4 weeks at a time. When registering, you register for the amount of days you want to swim per week. You have the option of once a week, twice a week, three times a week, or four times a week. When registering you will not be choosing the day, just registering for the amount. All you have to do is show up to the day(s) you want to participate. These days can change from week to week to best fit your schedule.

Swim Camps

We are offering Swim Camps during weeks when our normal program is on a break.

You register by day. You can register for more than one day. Each day will have a different swimming workout.

Swimmers must be comfortable swimming a 25 of freestyle and a 25 of backstroke on their own!

We hope you join us during the breaks.

Triathlon Clinics

The Carmel Swim Club is pleased to offer the 2019 Carmel Sprint Triathlon Swim Clinics

Stroke Instruction for Triathletes (all levels)
Instruction is geared to swimmers who would like to learn how to swim a proper front crawl (Freestyle) stroke. This class will offer the chance to work on freestyle drills for improved technique and efficiency. These sessions will focus on general stroke mechanics and proper breathing. The Freestyle stroke practiced during the clinics will help to not only build your endurance for the 400 meter portion of the Carmel Sprint Triathlon, but will allow you to swim a better more effective stroke
in years to come.
