Beginner Swim Lessons
* Offer valid for Swim Lesson program only. Class start dates in August 2018. No prior swim experience required for the Learn to Swim 1- Basic class. Swim Test or promotion from Learn to Swim 1- Basic is required for entry into the Learn to Swim 2- Advanced class.
** Outreach made possible by a grant from the Harris and Eliza Kempner Grant Foundation. A copy of the Medicaid, Snap, or Chip card copy is requried on first day of class. ABOUT OUR OUTREACH PROGRAM: The Harris and Eliza Kempner grant allows famlies in Galveston to sign up for swim lessons at a reduced price.
Families that participate in the Food Stamp, SNAP, or Medicaid programs are eligible. Families that meet the Gulf Swimming general program requirements for Household income can also participate.
