SwimAmerica Learn To Swim Classes
The bulk of what we do at Central Ohio SwimAmerica is teach school-age (3 years and older) children to swim. Each swimmer will be assessed during their first class and quickly placed in an appropriate station. From that point they will continue to progress individually as they master the advancement goals of each station. As they progress the stations goals become incrementally more challenging and consequently more time may be spent at each one. They will receive a blazoned red-white & blue certificate and a series of stickers to mark their accomplishments. This certificate will stay with them until they graduate from station 10 and become a SwimAmerica Swimmer!
Waves: Pre-Swim Team
The Waves Stroke School is offered at Oakstone pool throughout the school year, for those who have passed SwimAmerica Station 7. Swimmers will continue to work on stroke technique while building endurance, New swimmers should contact us for an evaluation to verify placement.
